Dr. Catherine L. Newsome is a Personal Development Coach specializing in identity and leadership development, as well as soul prosperity. She integrates biblical wisdom and psychology to help women and leaders maximize their potential, becoming more effective, confident, and fulfilled in their roles and lives.
She is the CEO of Catherine Empowers Global, Inc., which specializes in speaking, preaching, teaching, coaching, training, and empowerment events. Dr. Catherine offers personal and leadership development, staff and team development, and training services tailored to the specific needs of your organization (non-profit or for-profit), corporation, business, school, or church. Development and training services or workshops can be held in person or virtually.
She authored and self-published two books titled "Fatherless to Fathered: Freedom from Rejection and Abandonment" and "True ID: The Solution to an Identity Crisis."
Dr. Catherine is a scholar and thought leader who values education; she holds four earned degrees. She has a PhD in Psychology, specializing in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University, a Master of Arts degree in Human Services Counseling, specializing in Life Coaching from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Religious Studies from North Carolina Wesleyan College, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Winston-Salem State University.
Dr. Catherine is the Overseer of Impact Church Goldsboro, a thriving church founded by her and her late husband, Apostle Edwin 'Von' Newsome, where the Senior Pastor is her son-in-love, Pastor James Jones Jr. She is the proud mother and grandmother of three adult children and three grand girls.
